B-1 Business Visa

To be eligible for a B-1 Business visa, the purpose of the applicant’s trip is to enter the United States for business of a legitimate nature. The nature of business must be temporary. This includes conducting business such as attending a conference, settling an estate, negotiating contracts amongst many other valid reasons. 


The applicant must have sufficient funds to cover the expenses for the duration of the stay in the United States. The B-1 Visa is valid up to 10 years, however the applicant will only be able to stay in the United States for a maximum duration of 6 months per trip, as granted by the United States Customs and Border Protection.
